Workforce Diversity and Inclusion
The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) supports diverse and inclusive workplaces in the mental health system.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion coordinates Statewide activities to increase the diversity of OMH’s workforce. Our goal is an inclusive, respectful environment across OMH’s work sites.
Intended to advance health equity, improve quality, and help eliminate health care disparities by establishing a blueprint for health and health care organizations.
Critical CLAS Component: “Recruit, promote, and support a culturally and linguistically diverse governance, leadership, and workforce that are responsive to the population in the service area.”
